Julia Ramsey, an art restoration technician with Art Revived, has a weakness for coffee, beautiful art, and widowed Darius Holcombe. Her attraction doesn't seem to be returned, however, and she self-consciously chalks it up to her plus-sized frame.

The author immediately involved me in the story, and made me care about the characters and what happens to them in the first few pages. I was kept interested and involved right through to the end. I have not enjoyed a story this much in a very long time!I recommend this story to anyone, man or woman, who enjoys romance and who wants a relatively short read (about 2-3 hours). This is a romance with a twist, or two, or three, and is one you will not be able to put down.
The only possible shortcoming to this story is that it leaves you wanting more by this author. Thank you, Jennifer, for this story. Please give us more!

I enjoyed reading this story. I think anyone that has ever been in love could easily relate to the characters. Fun story if you are looking for a quick story. I look forward to more from this author!
This short and sweet book is a quick, uplifting read. The characters are amazingly easy to relate to and the idea of a painting having characters of it's own is very unique. As a busy mom, I appreciated the fact that I didn't have to think to much and could just enjoy the book. Would love to read more by this author.
I randomly acquired this book because the person who wrote it is less than six degrees from me. I'm glad I did. I sat down one afternoon and devoured the whole thing. The book is sweet and charming. While not unpredictable, I think that it was well pulled off.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a moderately quick, uplifting romance story. For that is what it is, a sweet romance that doesn't really have any carnal aspects.
After I read The Art of Falling in Love, I realized it was one of those stories, that you just don't want to end. I really loved it, it pulled me in from the start, the characters, including those on canvas, were so well developed, that you want to know what is in store for the next phase of their lives. It is not too graphic and would be fine for age 16 up.
I will be waiting to read future books by Jennifer Thompson. Don't keep us waiting too long please.
I enjoyed Ms. Thompson's book alot. I am not usually a romance novel kind of reader, but picked this up as it seemed shorter than most, and the fact that the heroine was not the usual curvaceous model type - more typical of the normal woman - made it even more intriguing. Turns out that it lived up to my expectations. I still won't be a romance reader as a norm, but it was really refreshing interlude from the norm. I would read Thompson's work again if she published another, or another..
Great Read by a new author. I loved this book. There was an element of suspense and surprise. It was short and sweet but grabbed your attention right from the start. I would recommend this book for any book lover who likes a little mystery and suspense.
